Brewed with authentic ingredients from the Old Country and our best approximation of Belgian brewing techniques. This brute is dominated by pilsner malts and step mashed to unleash their potential. A healthy dose of Saaz hops gives those malts a balanced counterpoint. But the magic here is in the yeast. We restrained it’s growth by holding it at a low temperature for a week before unleashing the ester potential in the strain by rising it in steps. What you get is a solid malt backbone that is both dry and sweet, acting as a platform for this Belgian yeast strain to dance its delicious dance.
